For my application the amp output was set at 34.6V at 3/4 volume using a 0db 50 HZ test tone. For the price you can't beat it.I would Highly recomend using a DVOM to set the gains correctly. I was skeptical but not now!This amp rocks. I am using this amp to push 2 12" l5 kickers at 1 Ohm load sealed encl. I now see why Hifonics's slogan is truely "Power from the Gods." This amp is louder than a Memphis PRD1000.1. So loud it makes my cds skip and they're brand new with no scrathces on them. Might sell the system one day but will never let go of the amp. And I am a very very hard person to satisfy. I can compare them to Memphis and MTX Audio. Hifonics is a top notch company, and has been for many years. This amp pushes these subs 2 times as hard as the other amp. I upgraded from a 1000 watt Interfire amp (IB-2900C), by the way a good amp, discontinued though. By the way nice radio, would be way better if it at least pushed 4 volts if not 5. I have a Panasonic radio rated at 2.2 volts. I have it wired to an ohm indepependence around 1.5. I have it pushing 3 Pioneer TS-W306DVC 12 inch subs rated at 400RMS/1000Peak each.
